These case studies provide examples of the various activities undertaken by the IHR Strengthening Project, showcasing the breadth of activities working across the IHR core capacity domains, and supporting workforce, organisational and leadership development. The case studies demonstrate the successes, learning and impact of the IHR Project’s engagement and work with bilateral partners (including National Public Health Institutes, Ministries of Health and regional agencies). These also highlight how the IHR Project has rapidly adapted and responded through the evolving COVID-19 pandemic, both providing much needed support to partners to strengthen COVID-19 preparedness and response, and developing capacity for improved remote delivery.
