Members of the IHR Strengthening project were delighted to attend the Global Health Security Conference 2022 in Singapore. The team had the opportunity to present on areas of our work, as well as link with representatives from our partner National Public Health Institutes from across Africa and Asia.
Jessica Moll from the IHR project’s workforce development team was invited to present on the project's successful laboratory leadership series which continues to be rolled out across our focal countries in Africa and Asia. Christopher Cartwright, IHR Specialist Registrar, spoke on the projects work on multisector coordination.
Members of the from the UKHSA Global Operations directorate, Global Health Security team also attended – Kanza Ahmed, presented on data driven tools for evaluating Global Health Security; Tina Endericks presented on the WHO Global Strategic Partnership Network; Meghan Cook presented on preparedness and response to hazardous events.
The conference provided a great opportunity to network with other global health security practitioners as the IHR Strengthening Project and wider UKHSA Global Operations directorate continues to showcase its work across the globe.
